Adding the finishing touches to a dream home.

Our client embarked on building their dream home. Once it was completed they realised that although it ticked many of their boxes it didn't have the 'wow factor' that they wanted. There wasn't a need for a full redesign, we added the extra finesse that the rooms needed.

The main wall had no features which meant that the temptation was to push the sofa back against the wall. This wasn't very cosy, so we selected a large single length of solid walnut and created a living edge floating console style table set within a section of acoustic panelling to add texture and height to the room. We added a textured feature wallpaper to two walls and added wall lights in either side of the fire and above the walnut console table creating a vignette and focal point. Adding a feature to the corner again added texture and height and balanced the fireplace wall as this was asymmetric.

We changed the remaining wall colours, lamps and mirrors to be more appropriate to the space's scale.
